The Onslaught is a failed military experiment driven mad by immortality. Having replaced many of his original, flesh parts with a symbiotic machine like skin, he is seemingly indestructible. This toughness comes at the expense of his common sense, never knowing when a battle is lost. He returned to this time period to find his former self before the experiment that made him immortal took place. His mission- to Terminate himself.
